God
There is One True and Living God. He is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is both loving and righteous in all His ways. He exists eternally as One God in Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Gen. 1:1, 26, 27; Ps. 90:2; Matt. 28:19; 1 Pet.1:2

Jesus
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. As the perfect God/Man, Jesus lived a sinless life. He demonstrated complete faith in His Heavenly Father, and at the same time, revealed to mankind the True and Living God in all of His fullness. He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin when He died on the cross. And, He rose from the dead demonstrating His power over death and hell. One day He will return to Judge the world and claim those who, through faith, belong to Him.
Matt. 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Heb. 1:1-5;
1 Cor. 15:3-4; Rom. 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Tim. 6:14-15

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is eternal with the Father and the Son. He makes people aware of their need for Christ. He seals all true believers. He lives within Christians guiding them, empowering them, comforting them, revealing Christ to them, and revealing Christ through them. He gives gifts of ministry to all believers. And, all believers, submit to His control.
2 Cor. 3:17; John 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; Eph.1:13; Eph. 5:18; Gal 5:25

The Bible
The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors under Divine Inspiration. It is the source for Christian beliefs and practice. As God's Word it is completely true, authoritative, and trustworthy, providing a solid foundation for Christian faith.
2 Tim. 3:14-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Ps. 119: 105,160

Human Beings
Human beings are the supreme creation of God, made in His image and likeness. Each person is precious to God, and each person is worthy of respect and love. At the same time, all human beings have rebelled against God, and have chosen to embrace sin, which was brought into the human race through Adam. Sin is responsible for human misery. Ultimately, sin has brought about spiritual and physical death. It is sin and sin's consequences which separate people from God, who is Holy.
Gen. 1:27; Ps. 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; 59:1-2; Rom. 3:23

Salvation
The salvation of sinful human beings is the work of God alone. God accomplished salvation through Christ's death and triumphant resurrection. He offers salvation as a free gift to all who will trust in Christ as Savior and Lord. People can not make up for their sin through any amount of good works. Only, by repenting of sin, and turning in faith to Christ can people find forgiveness, wholeness, meaning in life and eternal salvation.
John 1:12; 3:16; 14:6; Eph. 2:8-10; Titus 3:5; Gal. 3:26: Rom. 5:1

The Church
The church is the people of God. On the one hand, the church is a local congregation of believers who have confessed personal faith in Christ, following Him in baptism, in regular observance of Communion/ The Lord's Supper, and in Christian outreach and ministry. On the other hand, the church is the body of Christ in which Jesus is the head, and all believers of all time - past and present, in heaven and on earth - are the members of the body joined together by a common faith.
Matt.16:18; 1 Cor. 12:12; Eph. 4:4-7, 11-16; Col. 1:18

Eternity
God's desire is that all persons might experience true eternal life by living in union with Him forever in heaven. Those who turn from sin (repentance) and place their trust in Christ are promised life eternal. Those who reject Christ and His offer of eternal life, choose instead eternal death, or spiritual death, also know as hell - the place of eternal separation from God.
John 3:16; 5:11-13; 14:1-3; Rom. 6:23; Rev. 20:11-22:5
