Meets: Wednesdays 6:30pm - 8:10pm at the Church during the School year, with the exception of holidays, snow days, and other scheduled activities.

What Is AWANA?

  • It is an exciting children's ministry that teaches kids the vital truths from God's Word.

  • It teaches kids to memorize life-giving Scriptures, equipping them with the knowledge of God's Holy Word.

  • It helps kids to interact with other kids from a purely Christian perspective, teaching them to get along with others of like faith.

  • It builds unity in the body of Christ for kids from various denominational backgrounds.  You do not have to be a member of our church to be in AWANA.

Our AWANA Ministry Offers Three Clubs for your children:

This is a two-year preschool program designed for three and four-year-old preschoolers (must turn 3 by August 31st and be potty trained).  Cubbies includes a cute character named Cubbie Bear, a blue vest with accompanying awards for "Cubbies" to wear, and a zoo motif. Cubbie Bear encourages children as they achieve in handbooks.  Hand-books provide Bible memorization curriculum and stimulating activities specifically designed for preschoolers.  Geared to encourage parental support, the Hopper Hand-book and Jumper Handbook teach basic Bible truths along with popular preschool concepts of colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.

Designed for kindergartners as well as first and second graders, Sparks includes a fun firefly character named Sparky, a red vest with accompanying awards for "Sparkies" to wear, and a nature motif.  The three Sparks handbooks and ranks are Skipper, Hiker, and Climber.  Sparky firefly encourages and motivates children through handbook achievements.  Handbooks provide Bible memorization curriculum and other Bible-centered activities.

Third through sixth grade boys and girls enjoy the Ultimate Adventure as they learn how to apply God's Word to their lives.  Handbooks contain a variety of Bible memorization curriculum and other Bible-centered achievements.
