Camden Point Baptist Church is an Elder-Led, Congregation-Ruled church. By design, the church elects Elders (Pastors) and Deacons by congregational vote. The church then submits to the leadership of the Elders (Heb 13:17) in matters of vision, teaching, and church membership oversight. Deacons serve the elders through meeting tangible needs of the church in various ministries so that the elders can primarily focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4).
